Shipping and Returns Information

SHIPPING PRICES

Due to the sensitive nature of our perishable beef product, we have worked hard to create a shipping process that is fast and efficient. We ship our beef directly from Burns, Oregon, to your doorstep. Shipping beef is a FLAT RATE based on your location and includes the cost of the insulated liner, box, dry ice and overnight or 1-2 day shipping. Flat Rates vary between $59 and $129.

Most of the beef will arrive frozen though some slight thawing may occur.  As long as the beef is under 40 degrees Fahrenheit, it is still safe to consume according to USDA guidelines. Please place all frozen beef into the freezer as soon as you receive it.  

Our goal is to have it arrive completely frozen but there are some items outside of our our control such as weather or natural disasters.  We will do our best to communicate and will also provide tracking information to each customer for tracking purposes. 

Currently, we ship our beef early in the week to ensure delivery before the weekend (contingent upon weather and/or other uncontrollable factors).  Once your order is placed you will receive an email with an invoice, tracking number, and expected date of delivery.

Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, all shipment require a valid physical street address.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide and verify the correct shipping address. Doverspike Beef is not responsible for damage to the products if a recipient is not available to accept the shipment at time of delivery. We do our best to communicate the timeframe for shipping so you are able to grab it off the porch and freeze it immediately.  We ship without a required signature to ensure your product arrives in a timely manner and is left on your doorstep for you to grab. The billing customer is responsible for ensuring that a recipient will be available for delivery. It is highly recommended you monitor the package to ensure that it can be received by you or a designated recipient.

Due to the perishable nature of our products, any beef purchased may not be returned. If you are unsatisfied with a product or experienced any delivery issues, please contact us at doverspikebeef@gmail.com and we will work with you to make it right.
